Workshop with Stafford City Council
EcoDevo was asked by mayor, Ginger Sanders, to meet with the Stafford City Council to talk about general opportunities that exist.
EcoDevo staff and a couple of board members attended a workshop with the Stafford City Council on the evening of Wednesday, September 1. After giving an update on the current housing project, EcoDevo staff shared general information on grants, fiscal sponsorship, feasibility studies, and tax increment financing.
The City Council is going to spend some time determining what their priorities are and what they want to work on. Then, they’ll get back in touch with EcoDevo and EcoDevo will be able to determine how to assist and collaborate with the city in working on those priorities.
