Housing Opportunities Inc to Take Over Property Management
Stafford County Economic Development has engaged Housing Opportunities Inc (HOI) a nonprofit in Great Bend to take over property management of their rental properties effective March 1. Stafford EcoDevo’s rental portfolio has grown from three units to eleven in just over a year with two more houses still under construction.
Since 1996, HOI has been dedicated to building affordable and quality housing for the communities they serve in Barton, Pawnee, and Rice Counties. They are experienced in both development and management of safe, affordable, quality housing for low and moderate income families and individuals.
HOI has a team of full-time staff members dedicated to property management and maintenance. They are well suited to handle the complex compliance and reporting requirements of the new rental houses which were primarily funded by two affordable housing programs.
Stafford EcoDevo is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that strives to achieve local economic growth by supporting businesses, fostering employment opportunities, improving housing, and cultivating amenities that improve quality of life that encourage population growth.
