Stafford County Economic Development is honored to receive a $10,000 grant from the Kansas Grantmakers in Health (KGIH). This gift is in memory of KGIH’s longtime colleague and friend Steve Coen, former CEO of Kansas Heath Foundation, for his tremendous impact in helping to address come of the most pressing health challenges facing our state.

Kathleen Norman, Assistant Director of Stafford County Economic Development, is facilitating Empowerment Training with the Jobs of America’s Graduates-Kansas (JAG-K) Program at Stafford High School. She has been coming to the school weekly and will wrap up this nine-week pilot session in early December.

EcoDevo was asked by mayor, Ginger Sanders, to meet with the Stafford City Council to talk about general opportunities that exist.

EcoDevo staff and a couple of board members attended a workshop with the Stafford City Council on the evening of Wednesday, September 1.

For the next year, Falon Runnebaum will be working with Stafford County Economic Development as the AmeriCorps Workforce Development VISTA.

A project that Stafford County Economic Development (EcoDevo) worked on in conjunction with K-State’s College of Architecture, Planning and Design has been receiving a lot of publicity.
